Enriched Movement is a private practice, which means we do not bill insurance directly (including Medicaid). What we can do, though, is attach a superbill to every invoice. We recommend reaching out to your insurance provider to see what your out-of-network benefits are.

We are located in the Greater Columbus area! Our mission is to reach kids where they are, providing therapy with function because it's important to practice real-life skills directly in the environments where your child will actually be using them. Whether that means therapy in your home, at your neighborhood park, or in one of our clinic spaces in Downtown Powell, OH (depending on your child's equipment needs), we bring care to the setting that best supports your family.

At Enriched Movement, we deliver therapy with function. Our mission is to reach kids where they are—bringing care directly to your home, neighborhood park, or our clinic space in Downtown Powell, OH—because real-life skills are best learned in the environments where your child will actually use them.
When working with us, our "friends" (our patients) come to "play" (therapy!). Kids are naturally more motivated to try new things and take on tough challenges when they're having fun in an inviting, joyful environment.
Our founder, Allison Rath, built Enriched Movement out of a deep passion for connecting families with like-minded, highly skilled clinicians who practice at the top of their expertise. Our vision is to break away from standard clinical limitations: we don't let insurance rules dictate what care looks like. Instead, we focus entirely on what your child needs to make meaningful, measurable progress and truly move the needle in their development.
Another unique aspect of our care is co-treating, where multiple therapists work with your child at the same time. Imagine a Physical Therapist supporting your child to maintain a posture and improve head control so they can directly access their communication device or work on feeding goals with a Speech Therapist. Or, an Occupational Therapist starting a session with sensory regulation—because true participation can't happen without regulation first.
-
Your intensive should be truly personalized. Although our treatment sessions are booked for longer periods of time, you are only billed for what you use.
We strongly believe in the intensive model because that is where real change happens. None of us learn to ride a bike by practicing for 45 minutes once a week—it takes repetition, time, and focus!
When working with our friends, we look at the whole child. Even if you come in for physical therapy, we aren't just looking at how your child moves—we're looking at what they are saying (verbal and non-verbal), how they are communicating, and how all these pieces work together. These holistic insights don't just shape our treatment sessions; they help our kids and families discover and focus on what is truly meaningful to them.
Because learning happens continuously, it’s not just about the intervention our therapists provide during play. It’s equally important that we support caregivers so you feel confident bringing those same strategies into your home environment when you aren't playing with us. That daily carryover is what truly drives your child’s global development forward.

Yes! We integrate specialized, evidence-based tools and techniques into our sessions to support postural control, sensory regulation, and muscle activation. Depending on your child's goals, we incorporate:
Electrical Stimulation ("E-Stim"): Activates targeted muscle groups, enhances sensory awareness, and builds functional strength.
Whole-Body Vibration ("Shakey Plate"): Stimulates muscle reflexes, improves tone, boosts circulation, and aids in sensory regulation.
TheraTogs: Customized, wearable orthotic systems that provide continuous postural alignment and body awareness during movement.
ChiroSuit: Dynamic orthotic suits that offer deep pressure input, support core stability, and improve movement mechanics.
